Infinity D-18eco Mahogany Dreadnought

Infinity Luthiers is owned and operated by Chris Oliver in Springfield, Illinois. Infinity luthiers builds, repairs and restores guitars, mandolins and more.

This D-18eco is a dreadnought built with Honduras mahogany back and sides, neck and headplate veneer. The fretboard is Sapodilla (the chewing gum tree). The top and bracing are Adirondac Spruce. The bridge is ebonized Bullet Tree, purfling is end-grain Sapodilla with curly hard maple bindings. The 13th fret features a Honduras mahogany branch in mother of pearl. The headstock has the hand cut Infinity Luthiers service mark.

This guitar is built using river-recovered (sinker) woods. The Honduras mahogany, Sapodilla and Bullet tree are all recovered from the Belize River in the country of Belize. To read more about the river-recovered process visit our blog articles at http://www.infinityluthiers.com/blog/archives/tag/id-18eco.
